Two tours built the tournament scene that events like the Manila Millions grew out of. Both are still running.

Manila's place in it
Resorts World Manila, opened in 2009 opposite Manila's NAIA Terminal 3, hosted the APT's HK$1 million Manila Millions in 2013. The Philippines remains one of the busiest live poker markets in Asia, with PAGCOR as regulator.
